EZ HOLIDAY SWEET POTATOES

Great with pork, chicken, beef, and turkey. It's not just for the holidays!

SERVES: 6-8

Ingredients:

1 Package of Fresh Sides Sweet Potatoes, - “ no peeling required
(wedged or sliced)

2 Tbsps. of brown sugar (dark or light)
2 Tbsps. of butter or margarine
1/2 Cup of dried cranberries (optional)
1/2 Cup of pecans or walnuts (optional)

Preparation:

1. Open bag, add brown sugar, butter, nuts and dried cranberries and seal bag securely.

2. Place on microwavable plate, cook on high setting (or potato setting) for 7 minutes.

3. Using potholders, carefully remove plate from microwave.  Let rest for 1 minute.  Use the cool touch panels at the top and bottom of bag for safe handling. Carefully open the seal with a fork and serve.
